Shah Rukh Khan Finally Signs A Film, A Big Action Flick To Be Directed By Ali Abbas Zafar? To Release In 2020

Post the release of Aanand L Rai’s Zero, co-starring Katrina
Kaif, and Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan has not signed or announced his next
project. While SRK fans are eagerly waiting to see Khan spelling his magic once
again on the big screen, here we bring some good news for all of them. If all
goes well, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s action
thriller next. Yes, you heard that right! Earlier, a few reports suggested that
SRK will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani film, but the latest news states
something else.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, SRK has apparently signed a big action film which will be helmed by none other than Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar. Divulging into the details of the next project a source close to the entertainment portal revealed, “Shah Rukh wanted to take up an action-oriented subject as his next and he's finally got the perfect script. The film is going to be mounted on a giant scale and will be one of the biggest films to hit screens in 2020."
Source further revealed, “The superstar has always been fond of Ali's work and feels he brings out the right mix of action and emotion in his films. On the other hand, Ali has always wanted to collaborate with Shah Rukh. Their union was waiting to happen and it's finally happening now."
The same report further states that Yash Raj Film will back
Ali Abbas Zafar’s next, which is expected to go on floors sometime towards
early next year. The source revealed to the portal, "Ali has launched his
own production and will be busy with Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday starrer
Khali Peeli. It's only after that he will roll out with the film with Shah Rukh.
Currently, they have discussed the concept and SRK has given his nod. Ali is
readying the script. Nothing else is known about the film as of now.
